Information about the master classes

Voice master class:

Course start on August 25, 2025 at 9:00 with registration in the foyer of the Besední dům: Jana Šoupala 137/4, 682 01 Vyškov
Upon registration, you will receive the festival program, a card of participant and all other necessary information
Please bring any form of identification to register so that we can properly identify you
The overall course schedule is as shown below. You can find your class by the number assigned to you and received by email after registration
Most of the lessons take place in the concert hall of the Besední dům. General rehearsals and the opera's main dress rehearsal take place in the Cemetery Church . If a participant is scheduled to change the location of the lesson to the Cemetery Chapel, you will find the note HK - Cemetery Church in the given class and in your number
The schedule can be changed by mutual agreement and communication. Only the organizer can do this. If necessary, please contact us
Please send us your repertoire for the accompanist together with the sheet music in electronic form no later than August 1, 2025. (does not apply to repertoire related to the preparation of the opera)

Opera rehearsals:

Rehearsals of the opera will take place over two days, on Thursday, August 28 and Friday, August 29, 2025, in four blocks
The first block, designated as a split exam, will proceed as follows:

Singing practice with accompaniment will take place in the concert hall of the Besední dům

The first orchestra rehearsal will take place approximately at the same time in the Cemetery Church

Further rehearsals are already underway together in the Cemetery Church
The general exam will take place on Friday afternoon, if necessary, it is possible to take an extraordinary exam on Saturday morning
All participants and paying listeners also have access to opera rehearsals

Harpsichord courses and workshops

Courses start on August 27, 2025 at 9:00 with registration at the Cemetery Church: Hřbitovní 6/4, 682 01 Vyškov
Upon registration, you will receive the festival program, a card of participant and all other necessary information.

Most of the teaching takes place in the cemetery church
The schedule can be changed by mutual agreement and communication. Only the organizer can do this. If necessary, please contact us

The workshops that you will find in the schedule are intended primarily for teachers of the Vyškov Elementary School of Art, but course participants can also participate in them

They take place in the following order : Voice - Besední dům concert hall: Tuesday
Harpsichord - Cemetery Church: Wednesday
Violin and Flute - Cemetery Church: Thursday

Other important information

As part of the courses, all participants have the right to participate as listeners in any other teaching, including opera preparations and workshops
If you are still interested in participating in the courses as a listener, you can purchase passive participation for individual days of your choice, on the registration days, i.e. August 25 and August 27, always from 9:00 to 10:00 . Your participation is valid for the entire schedule on the given day for which you purchase a ticket, regardless of specialization
