Welcome to the website of the Summer Baroque Festival in Vyškov. The festival builds on a multi-year tradition of summer baroque concerts, which have confirmed that the art of the Baroque period can appeal to audiences across generations. This year, we are expanding the program not only with more concerts but also with visual arts projects and educational workshops for students and young artists.

 

The festival naturally expands the range of Baroque activities in the Czech Republic and places a strong emphasis on education. Therefore, in its first year, we are offering courses in our city to bring Baroque art closer to as many people as possible. No prior experience with period instruments is required; on the contrary, we offer the opportunity to become familiar with them under the guidance of experts.

 

The festival will take place in the unique setting of the Cemetery Church in Vyškov — a rare Baroque monument. The program will feature a rich array of concerts, from chamber ensembles and orchestral projects to Baroque opera. We believe that together we will create a meeting place where each visitor can take home their own Baroque story — whether as a listener, creator, or enthusiastic discoverer.
