The festival in Vyškov will feature a concert performance of Handel's opera Xerxes , one of the pinnacles of Baroque musical drama. This exceptional work, known for its famous aria Ombra mai fu , offers a mixture of serious and comic tone, masterfully portrayed characters, and richly structured music.
The performance will be presented by selected participants of the masterclasses, who, under the guidance of experienced lecturers, have immersed themselves in the stylish interpretation of Baroque opera. You can look forward to an evening full of youthful energy, distinctive musical expression and an authentic approach to Handel's legacy.
