Jiří Vodička – violin & Baroque always young
Barocco sempre giovane is a prestigious Czech chamber ensemble composed of outstanding musicians. In combination with one of our most prominent virtuoso violinists , Jiří Vodička, a concert program was created that stands out with an exceptionally technically demanding repertoire.
The program is dedicated to three famous Baroque composers – Pietro Antonio Locatelli, Arcangelo Corelli and Giuseppe Tartini – musical geniuses whose works won admiration not only in their time, but remained a permanent part of the musical legacy.
The dramaturgy of this evening gives the audience a unique opportunity to appreciate not only the technical precision, but also the deep feeling of the music and the dramatic tension, along with the timeless beauty of Baroque compositions.
